Royal Caribbean Group Named a National Sponsor of the Great American Road Trip

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 17, 2026) — The Great American Road Trip today announced Royal Caribbean Group as a national sponsor, expanding the initiative’s efforts to celebrate America’s 250th birthday through travel, exploration, and connection.

Royal Caribbean Group is a leading global vacation company spanning cruise, exclusive destinations and land-based vacation experiences. The company brings a wide-ranging perspective on travel, reinforcing the organization’s shared mission of discovery through the exploration of destinations and experiences that connect people to places and to one another.

Launched in September 2025, The Great American Road Trip showcases America’s people, destinations, and brands through curated itineraries, national event stops, and digital storytelling. The initiative encourages travelers to get out on the road, rediscover the country, and engage with the communities and stories that define America as it approaches its 250th birthday.

“Travel has always played a powerful role in bringing people together and shaping how we experience the world around us,” said Tori Barnes, Executive Director of The Great American Road Trip. “Royal Caribbean Group shares our belief in the value of exploration and connection, and this partnership helps spotlight the journeys, by land and by sea, that have defined America’s past and will continue to inspire its future.”

As a national sponsor, Royal Caribbean Group will be featured across select Road Trip stops, co-branded activations, and storytelling initiatives that celebrate travel, innovation, and the spirit of adventure. Through on-the-ground engagement and broad digital distribution, the partnership will reach audiences nationwide and beyond.

At the close of 2025, Royal Caribbean Group sailed to more than 1,000 destinations globally, including breathtaking places in the U.S such as the Pacific Northwest and Alaska, Hawaii, New York, Key West, and more. Operating in key drive-up markets including 15 U.S. ports, the company’s ships visited 35 ports throughout the country through its vacation brands Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea. Last year, the company delivered 9.4 million vacations globally with many itineraries originating in the United States.
